Fizza Abbas (She/Her) supports youth province-wide to co-create, support, and facilitate structures for youth-led change. Fizza has represented youth across Ontario by presenting at the 2020 MPP Budget Consultation to secure 3.8 billion dollars in funding for mental health. Fizza’s commitment to health equity, cross-cultural values, systems-level thinking, and community mobilization has been a guiding light. Fizza aims to shift the narratives and decolonize the mental health system to allow for more understanding, acceptance, and inclusion for all.
