Ryan Banfield is a passionate fan of public policy and social programs living in Ottawa, Ontario. Through volunteer work, research and lived experience, Ryan is always learning about issues such as poverty, housing and mental health, and is always ready to provide others with the knowledge and understanding that he has accumulated. A government affairs nerd by trade, Ryan dreams of one day creating a Canada where government policies and programs keep people off the street.
