Bio 
Valeria Diaz is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto having completed an Honours Bachelor of Science Specialist degree in Mental Health Studies. She is interested in issues pertaining to the mental health of children and youth, alongside topics of sustainability and immigration. She has experience working with young people in promoting, educating, and examining mental health from various community-based, equity-based frameworks in both Toronto, Canada and Lima, Peru. Expanding upon her expertise in the specific needs of children and their mental health, Valeria has also completed a graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Sciences as of April 2021. With skills in project planning and effectively managing teams, Valeria is looking for opportunities to help support children and youth and their mental health in local communities through project coordination and research
