David Kryszajtys is a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto, Dalla Lana School of Public Health. For his dissertation, he has been collecting and analyzing people’s accounts of using psychedelics to self-treat depression and anxiety. His study aims to identify and explain the common factors that influence the harms and benefits of this practice, and he hopes to use these findings to create and share knowledge products that fill the gap in health promotion around psychedelic self-treatment.
