Canadian Courage Project

The Canadian Courage Project (CCP) is Canada’s first non-profit organization designed to support the mental health of youth aged 15-24 who own animal companions as they transition out of shelters and into independent housing. To support local youth and their animals, CCP offers mental health and educational workshops and essential personalized Wellness Departure Kits, and constructs animal care booths in collaboration with Greater Toronto Area (GTA)-based shelters.
