Youth Groundbreaker
Bio
Hi, my name is Ayan Absiye and I'm a second-year student studying Political Science and a double minor in African Studies and History at the University of Toronto. I joined groundbreakers as a part of the youth cohort because I know firsthand how important mental health can be, especially amongst youth. I have worked with many organizations that center around uplifting youth. Examples include The Toronto Youth Council, CAMH, and hope to continue with working with more that center around creating equitable and inclusive spaces and policies for youth.
